Family fund created for slain WA deputy

Kittitas County Sheriff's deputy, 42-year-old Ryan Thompson, was shot and killed in the line of duty after a suspect fled in a high speed car chase. Kittitas (city) Police officer, 22-year-old Benito Chavez was wounded in the same shoot out with the suspect who was killed in the return fire.
