Gig Harbor Wings and Wheels roars to life June 30-July 1st

You better burn rubber (must observe all local traffic rules, ordinances, covenants and laws) to the 8th Annual Gig Harbor Wings and Wheels Show on the weekend of June 30-July 1, 2018. The 8th Annual Gig Harbor Wings and Wheels Show features military aircraft, stunt pilots, a car show, children's activities, food and drink at the Gig Harbor Airport on the weekend of June 30th-July 1st. KVI's John Carlson interviews event spokesman, Doug Fratoni about the only air show in Pierce County this year and why its a perfect event for families. Active duty and military veterans can receive free tickets at local Les Schwab Tire Center locations.

Aerial performances by pilots flying World War II Fighter P-51 Mustang, Vietnam era TA-4J Skyhawk, the Olympic Flight Museum AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter & UH-1 Huey demo, and other vintage aircraft.

Saturday Night is "Bike Night" special pricing and parking for Motorcycles and a bike check for bicycles make it a destination for your ride! Bring your Bike and show it off

Live Music both days, (Saturday Night) The Spud Makers & Jim Valley Project (Sunday) The US Army Rock Band "Courage" and Blues artist Kim Archer.

Beer Garden hosted by the Harmon Brewing Co. Many beers on tap, must be 21 or older. For food, there's also a VIP Chalet - First time offered, tented, reserved seating, catered food, right up front!

Parking is tight so using a shuttle is recommended at St Francis Medical Center on Pt. Fosdick Drive with a free shuttle to/from the event at the Narrows Airport.
