Country musician Jason Aldean is Melisah Burke's favorite performer. That's why she and husband Stephen, who live in Seattle, were in Las Vegas (staying at the Mandalay Bay Resort) for all three days of the Route 91 Harvest Festival. And that's where they were, 30-feet from Aldean's perch on the stage when gunfire exploded over the crowd.

KVI's John Carlson interviews the Burkes about how they managed to survive as a woman just 10-feet away from them was gunned down. The entire saga is marked by confusion as the first shots rang out, all the way through their escape, when it was impossible to confirm what was going on as they were trying to get answers nearly 4 hours later.
