Driving southbound on I-5 approaching the railroad over-pass south of DuPont, Washington, Dan Konzelman, never could have imagined a train before his eyes was flying off the track and plunging to the freeway below.

KVI's John Carlson interview Konzelman who not only witnessed the train derailment but then ran towards the chaos to help anyone he could find.

Konzelman tells KVI he crawled through five derailed cars to help injured passengers but inside the fifth car he found the most seriously hurt as well as dead passengers.

Konzelman tells KVI he eventually found out that one of the motionless passengers in that fifth car was a man he knew from Bible study a few years ago.
