KVI's John Carlson interviews the new Pierce County Executive, Bruce Dammeier, a Republican from Puyallup, WA. Dammeier says he wants to bring more jobs to the county and bolster the economy so residents don't have to drive north to jobs in Seattle, Bellevue or other parts of King County. Dammeier just delivered his first State of The County address after winning election last November. He talks about the county voters supporting more Republican candidates as well as what's happening with Sound Transit, car tab taxes and homelessness.
