The I-405 express toll lanes (ETLs) from Lynnwood to Bellevue, WA have become an expensive or time-consuming drive for commuters and a key Olympia lawmaker tells KVI he's not ready--just yet--to pull the plug on the ETLs.

As drivers along I-405 from Lynnwood, WA to Bellevue, WA struggle with excruciating commute times or expensive toll lane fees, the State Senate Transportation Chair, Curtis King (R-Yakima), tells KVI that he has decided to stick with a previously made arrangement to allow for 2 years of tolling before making major changes to the express toll lane (ETL) system. King tells KVI's Kirby Wilbur and John Carlson that he knows the ETL system is making traffic worse but wants to honor the deal he made with Legislative Democrats to study the impact of the ETLs after 2 years of tolling.
