Anti-police protesters in Seattle wore costumes depicting officers as pigs and shouted out scripted lines in the middle of yesterday's Seattle city council meeting. Two of the protesters who were dressed up like police officers wore pig snouts. The political theater is another attempt by anti-police protesters who are trying to block the construction of a new police precinct in north Seattle at the southeastern corner of Aurora Avenue North and 130th Street. The precinct construction plan backed by Mayor Ed Murray has also come under criticism for its lofty price tag. Last week, Mayor Murray halted the precinct construction plan after the small but vocal anti-police zealots protested a previous city council meeting.
