The continued Beltway battle over immigration reform isn't stopping while Congress is on vacation during the August recess. John Carlson talks about the prospects for meaningful immigration reform with Congressman Reichert as the House is expected to tackle the issue this fall after the Senate passed the "Gang of 8" plan written largely by Democratic NY Sen. Charles Schumer. Given the current immigration reform debate, Reichert represents one of the most unique districts in America: Issaquah and Sammamish (home to high-tech & software companies like Microsoft that seek more skilled workers with H1-B immigration visas) to agriculture communities from Cashmere to Wenatchee and Chelan that use immigrant farm labor.
