Venezuela's now into its fourth straight day of a nation wide electricity black out, trace Venezuela's decline back to its hey day in the early 1970s, OPEC's embargo was a factor in the 1970s shift to government control in Venezuela, and then came Hugo Chavez's rise to military power, how the Venezuelan economy shrunk by 60% over 10 years, Cubans are now in charge of state security because Nicolas Maduro (clinging to power) doesn't trust Venezuelans in the military to be loyal to his regime.
