Adverse reactions from the Washington Inter-scholastic Athletic Association high school track and field state championships in Tacoma, WA. A trans-athlete from Spokane’s East Valley High School won the girls 400 meter dash by one second.

According to reports from the state championships held in Tacoma, the 400 meter winner was boo’d by the crowd on the podium but the second and third place finishers were cheered loudly when their names were announced.
