Frequent KVI interview guest, Todd Myers, the environmental policy director at the Washington Policy Center, says 96-98% of salmon successfully pass through hydro-electric dams on the Snake River in Washington and Idaho. The hydro-electric dams have become a controversial focus as environmental activist groups and Democratic Party politicians demand the removal of the clean energy dams while claiming that the dams are an obstacle to salmon spawning.

Myers was interviewed by veteran news reporter, John Stossel, for this story looking at the hard facts rather than sensationalistic coverage that the hydro-electric Snake River Dams commonly receive from TV news coverage.
