KVI’s John Carlson interviews a recovering drug addict who is now creating and implementing drug rehabilitation programs to get addicts clean and sober, Ginny Burton. Burton responds to a Journal of The American Medical Assocation (JAMA) report that relaxing drug possession laws in Oregon and Washington did nothing to impact fatal over-doses in both states. Burton talks candidly about her own work contacting homeless drug addicts in tents and homeless encampments.
