GUEST: King Co. Councilman Reagan Dunn calls for resignation of King County’s Director of Law Enforcement Oversight, Tamer Abouzeid. Dunn says Director Abouzeid has re-posted social media remarks about pro-Palestinian or anti-Israeli sentiment that could be viewed as provocative or could call into question his ability to be impartial given his primary job directive: reviewing complaints about police mis-conduct and excessive force. Dunn says the director’s job has stringent ethics requirements. Regarding Abouzeid’s advocacy for political issues, Dunn says he’s “not the right fit for the job” and “doesn’t have the temperament, doesn’t have the maturity for the job.”
